Design and development
The first step – from the idea to production release
Do you have dust, solids or particles that need to be separated or filtered? No problem. With a needs analysis, consultation, customer-specific design and planning, we guarantee to find a suitable solution for you – a Herding filter system based on a comprehensive modular system, tailored precisely to your needs – always with the advantage of pure surface filtration.
If no suitable technology is currently available, our Business Development team will be happy to look for possible solutions for you.
Production and delivery
Once the individual concept has been finalized, our experienced project managers take care of you and your order. Close cooperation with the construction team and installation staff will begin at this stage. This ensures that there are no surprises later during installation and commissioning. It goes without saying that you are part of this process.
Transportation and delivery are also coordinated worldwide from Amberg and the best solution is found for your individual case. This can include everything from Ex Works agreements to worldwide consignment warehouses.

We will be happy to install and commission your filter system for you. If piping work or additional installations are required, we will also be happy to do this for you. Nevertheless, even the best technology requires regular maintenance in order to maintain system availability, occupational safety, function and efficiency. Is your Herding filter system getting on in years? Surely requirements and conditions have changed in the meantime. No problem! As a rule, a Herding filter system can be adapted to the new situations. Together we can protect the environment and your wallet!
Conversion/modernization
Qualified and experienced members of our conversion team will work with you to create a suitable concept for converting or modernizing your Herding filter system. The modified system can once again meet your current process conditions and be operated using state-of-the-art technology.
Regenerating the filter elements – general overhaul with new PFAS-free coating
Your contribution to the CO2 footprint
The Herding sinter-plate filter consists of a porous sintered base body made of polyethylene (PE) and a PFAS-free coating in the surface pores. The latter ensures that the dust is separated directly on the surface. As with any filter system, the filter surface can be damaged if the dust or process deviates from the intended use. Conventional filter systems such as cartridges, tubes, bags or rigid bodies with membranes on the surface are then irreversibly damaged. Only the Herding sinter-plate filter can be recoated in many cases by reusing the base body and can be used again:
